Algunos pasos

Some steps to move forward, to move on, to live. Steps like a child to reach an uncertain future, sometimes too short, and steps like an old man to leave the experience behind. In the middle of that interval of time, during which we debate everything, are the cracks in the earth, our imprint of life.

Technical notes:
This painting is made with natural earth in order to obtain the blurred ochres, yellows and browns ... the carmine red, which appears as drops (imprints), is a synthetic enamel in several layers. Also the dark brown that I let dry for several days in order to get the desired thickness. The texture of the cracks is made with marble dust and different adhesives subjected to intense drying.
