Fuego pasión
The Fire Ceremony in Japan is a unique experience, one I was lucky enough to witness in a Buddhist monastery near Nara. In this ceremony, you reflect on what has upset you the previous year, it is an opportunity to renew yourself. Passion is intense: in suffering or in pleasure. Passion, a living flame.
Technical Notes:
This time I have used synthetic enamels with different pure reds and mixtures of yellows, whites and blacks to achieve the intensity of the fire. For the relief, as the main base I used ground marble, siliceous carbon, other minerals and paraffin. The final finish is achieved with gloss varnish.
