Infinito

The first image was the night, a night of intense dark, with lights at the end, many lights and cranes that made up the black and artificial horizon, with lighted signs that marked the heights.

I saw a city floating in a drifting sea, but with firm foundations clutching (tierra firma / solid ground)
Light blue reflections of a society that was sleeping in an economic growth at the limits of its dreams, its life, with the peace and tranqulity of not knowing the future that awaits them.
I needed to reflect on a work that I experienced when I arrived in Moscow in the summer of 2013.

Technical notes:
In order to bring this work to realisation, I mixed various hues, blues, reds and white, amongst others.
I allowed each coat of paint to dry for a number of weeks, once dry I added the next, and so on.
I used acrylics and synthetic paints.

Measure: 61 / 50 cm
