Negro, azul, plata

I've always been passionate about studying the heavens on Summer nights, in the last few years from a town in Toledo, Spain.

The Universe in which we live, and of which we form a part.
It is a great beauty and I see all the mysteries that the firmament keeps and the spectacular offerings of nature.
I forget life's little problems and allow my imagination to fly between those stars, stars with different hues and intensities, and in uniting them I am able to draw figures.
I invite all of you to draw your own map in a Summer night sky: "Negro, Azul, Plata" is mine.

Technical notes:
The volume of this work is a result of working on the canvas in three moments.
Firstly, the base is made from barley grains produced in the central plateau of Spain, in Guadalajara, and subjected over time to conservation processes.
Second, powdered and ground marble are applied in different thicknesses.
Third, glass powder combined with acrylic and synthetic paints are heated to achieve the final textures.
The material is then laid on wood to make a better consistency.
