Viento de invierno

Cold, such cold to the point of breaking stones. Windswept sunset in an immense, infinite trough, where silence is heard and the air is smelled. Alaska, there on the last frontier.

Technical notes: This painting is made up of two canvases with a depth of 8 centimeters and of equal dimensions, as such, it is a diptych. It is made with acrylic, synthetic, and varnish paints. The ochres, oranges, and yellows are made with pigments and natural earths. The relief is composed of slate and other stones.
